Meet the Graduates
On November 6th, AIPA graduated three aspiring students from three different career backgrounds. All have successful career histories—their journey with us has a shared mission – to heal others.
This article is merely a blog, instead, this is a story of three aspiring individuals who are transforming their passion for therapy into rewarding healers. I, as a Principal, wish to see three graduates; to drive and thrive in the spa and wellness industry.
(1) Meet Mr. Lanam: The International Martial Artist
Mr. Lanam learned about AIPA not long ago, but he convinced himself to join the class someday.
As he was traveling back to Nepal, at Germany’s airport, he would have decided to join the massage course. After returning he enrolled at AIPA and completed the “Diploma in Massage Therapy” certification. He has proved as one of the most disciplined personalities among our 220 graduates.
With decades of international experience as a martial artist, Mr. Lanam’s motivation to acquire massage skills is deeply rooted in his understanding of the human body and the importance of physical and mental well-being.
Yet, he always had a few questions,
- “How will learning massage therapy complement my martial arts practice?”
- How can this training align with my philosophy of discipline?
He’s fully aware of the synergy between martial arts and massage therapy.
In fact, as a martial artist, he has a deep appreciation for holistic practices and mental balance. His martial arts sessions consist of rigorous physical training, require discipline, and often result in muscle strain, or stiffness.
His intuition knows that applying correct massage techniques can provide a natural complement, to relieve stress, and resolve muscle pain.
He said,
“Only learning therapeutic massage allows me beyond physical combat. I can move into a healing practice that cures others.”
Mr. Lanam is a highly disciplined personality, in class attendance, practicing, and completing the course. He would join as a model for other students and deliver quick feedback on their massage performance. We found the entire class ‘disciplined’ during his presence.
Mr. Lanam is an exemplary person for everyone.
(2) Meet Ms. Sarju: An Assistant Clinical Therapist
She has been reading our academy’s social posts from her workplace for a long time.
“This training will enable me to bridge the gap between clinical practice and holistic wellness approach to well-being.”
(3) Meet Ms. Radha: International Yoga Instructor
A seasoned yoga instructor, Ms. Radha is already educating people about the benefits of yoga. She has already built a reputation for promoting handmade soaps, yoga, and mindfulness programs.
She traveled to Nepal to pursue advanced certifications in massage therapy.
Ms. Radha firmly believes in diversifying her abilities to create new opportunities and enhance her income potential.
We believe that “by integrating Massage Therapy with Yoga, Ms. Radha intends to provide holistic solutions from stress and physical discomfort.
Next year, she’s returning to AIPA for her Thai Massage course.
We wish her good and the best time ahead.
Why Spa Skills Matter?
In today’s stressful world, the demand for skilled therapists is skyrocketing as more people prioritize self-care and relaxation.
Mr. Lanam’s ability to fuse martial arts with therapeutic massage, Ms. Sarju’s integration of clinical and holistic approaches, and Ms. Radha’s creation of comprehensive holistic packages showcase the versatility of these skills.
Their stories highlight how massage therapy training can skill up existing careers while promoting the way for a stress-free life.
A Shared Mission: Healing with Ethics and Integrity
Despite of their different career backgrounds, all three graduates share a common goal: to heal people with high ethics and moral values.
At AIPA Nepal Spa Academy, they found not just training, but a philosophy of care that aligns with their personal missions. This commitment to ethical practice sets AIPA apart as a beam of excellence in the spa industry.
