A Proud Moment For Nepal's Wellness Industry.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Government of Nepal, the Nepal Tourism Board, and all national leaders and stakeholders who contributed to making this wellness vision a reality.
This recognition is a powerful diplomatic achievement.
Now, Nepal has positioned itself as a global destination for holistic wellness, advocating that true wellness is a way of living life.
On April 15, the world marks a historic milestone—the first-ever International Wellness Day, officially recognized by the United Nations General Assembly following a proposal by Nepal.
This landmark resolution, adopted in March 2026 with overwhelming global support, establishes wellness as a universal priority—include physical, mental, emotional, social, ecological, and spiritual well-being. Aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3—SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-Being—this initiative emphasizes preventive care, sustainable lifestyles, and community-driven health systems. The Way Forward
International Wellness Day is not just a date—it’s a call to action. Wellness is now beyond the spas, clinics, or moments of retreat. It is a life's agenda—that shapes how we think, work, rest, and endure. To me, to invest in wellness education, then, is not limited to learn a technique. It is to choose a more conscious way of living. - Reena Shrestha, Principal
